We were lucky enough to have two advent chains going this year to help us countdown to Christmas. Brinley made one at school which we hung on our door with paper links. The other one was a new idea this year. I stole it from a friend. Each day had a piece of candy for everyone in our family and a scripture to read with a question to answer. We included Kylee so that by the time she got home from school for Christmas break she had a bowl of candy waiting for her. We weren't very good at doing it every day...some days we got several pieces of candy at once. I liked that it helped us focus just a little more on the Savior as we read the scripture and answered the questions!
