Some of what Brinley liked about 2012

This year my teachers are Mrs.moss and Lily. one thing i know about Lily is that her name in English  is Madison.I do Chinese Dual Immersion.At foothill elementary .I really miss my friends Brooke and Breanne they are twines at home there dad can barely tell them apart they don't come to my school.
              Some of  my friends in 1st grade,Ella Mia Olivia.g Olivia.B Kate Bella.That's all that I can think of but Brook and Breanne are still my friends.
I really like doing math and that's a good thing because we do math every day for our first task we do subtraction and sometimes addition.I love having Mrs.moss and Lily they are so nice to me.They are my 2nd favorite teachers.My first favorite teacher is Mrs.Kimber .But I do still like Mrs.moss and Lily.Lily has taught me a lot of Chinese it is hard to speak right when you learn it.If Lily hears you speak English she will put your name on her whiteboard and then you will have to owe her time at brake and if you don't listen to Lily you will have to owe her time to.In Mrs moss's class if you talk at the rug then she'll give you a warning and if you got a warning you need to be careful because if you talk again, you'll owe her time. I am glad to have such a nice family.I love my family so much.I know that my family can be together forever.I know that my family love's me to.                  

Some of what Quincy liked about 2012

     On Saturday, my class did a relief map and we got to paint it. We had to paint the sides of the mountains purple and the tops white, then we painted the Colorado plateau orange with red stripes, then we painted the lakes blue, and the Rocky Mountain Region green. 

     My family went to get air (or the trampoline park) There were huge trampolines that went from side to side and there was pits with foam cubes in it and there was a screen that shows you what trick you did. I did a front flip and landed in a pencil dive. There was even two tramps in the corner, there was also a dodge ball area. I loved going there and I hope that I can go there again someday.

     My family also went to Union Grill and I had some chicken strips with ranch and I saw someone eating a crab that I thought was a seahorse! Then my dad told me that it was a crab.For desert we had mud pie and another thing. 

     Some of my friends are Kaylee Harper, Annika Quayle, Kira Mecham and Kaitlyn Warner. My teacher this year is Miss. Hull I love having her for my teacher. She is the best teacher anyone could ever have! =)

New Years Eve

We forgot the camera, but we had a great time spending New Years Eve together.  Dad had to work so we picked him up from work at 4:30pm.  We went to "Get Air" trampoline park.  It was super fun.  It was exhausting...we were only there for barely an hour and we were all ready to be done.  Really fun though.  Then we went to dinner at the Union Grill.  The kids liked it and there was something on the menu everyone was happy with.  Then we came home, set up our cool new projector and screen and tried to watch 2 movies.  I think we were all asleep during most of the second one.  We said a tired "Happy New Years" and carried a lot of sleeping children to their beds!  

So much Snow!!!

A couple days after Christmas it started to snow...and snow...and snow.  Chris was so proud of his new snowblower!  Kade really appreciated it too.  The kids had a great time trying out their new Christmas hats, gloves, boots and especially sleds!  We spent a lot of time playing out in the snow over Christmas vacation.

Christmas Afternoon at Grandpa & Grandma's

At 10:00am we always go to Grandpa and Grandma's for Christmas Breakfast.  We eat a feast and don't need to eat again until that night.  Then we have Grandpa and Grandma open the presents that we have for them.  Grandma Wyatt was able to be with us this year so we also gave her the gifts we had for her.  Then Grandma passes out her presents for the kids.  Most of them wanted money to take to Disneyland!

We draw names with my siblings and we also exchange these gifts.  This was my favorite present this year...Jenni and Chris gave us an apple maching and some vinyl lettering.  They know me well.  Hopefully Chris likes it as much as I do!!

Later that afternoon we all went back to our own houses and then met that evening at Alex and Kacey's.  There we had Christmas Dinner and watched "Silent Night".  What a day!  I think we partied for 3 days straight! 

Christmas Morning

Wow!  Lots of pictures of this one!  What is better than Christmas morning??  It was a great Christmas at our house.  For the first time in 4 years the kids got presents with their Christmas money instead of going on a family trip.  We all love the trips, but we got lucky enough to get both this year because Grandpa Tom is taking us all to Disneyland in February!!  Can't wait for that one.  There were lots of presents under the tree...I guess that happens easily when there are 7 of you!

Kylee and Emilee did most of their shopping for themselves this year.  They wanted clothes, boots, etc.  But Santa did bring them a great big surprise...the most awesome, comfy, huge princess blankets that they both love!!  Santa did good on that one!  They were both so happy with their surprise.

All of Kade's dreams came true this year!  He got what he has been wishing and hoping beyond hope for...a  Play Station 3!!!!!  He even got the second controller and the game he wanted to go with it. 

Quincy and Brinley had asked for "Our Generation Dolls" and "Dreamlights".  They lucked out and got them both!  They even got a bunkbed and scooters for their dolls.

Chris pulled a fast one on the kids.  He got them all excited about possibly getting a projector for his gift from John Watson this year, but then told them he had changed his mind and was getting something else.  Kade was especially disappointed.  He did end up getting the projector and we got a HUGE movie screen that can be used inside or outside.  He wrapped them both up and had everyone unwrap them all together at the very end.  They were all very excited.  We decided we will have "Monday Movie Night" in our backyard all summer long...after Family Home Evening that is!!  

We are so blessed...to have each other and our Savior Jesus Christ who is the reason we celebrate!!
