Happy Halloween! We have a few spooksters left around here. Kade got invited to a last minute Halloween party so this is what he came up with as his costume! Brinley was a beautiful butterfly. Her wings came from a costume she wore when she was 4! We attached them to a bigger shirt and made the skirt. She was happy with how it turned out. Quincy had a hard time trying to figure out what she wanted to be. After doing a little searching on google, we came up with a "spa queen". I think she just wanted to paint her face green!

Princesses!
Emilee and Elizabeth! We could almost claim Elizabeth as a member of the family. She spends lots of time here with Emilee and we think she is great. These two are all dressed up ready for a Halloween party!

Pumpkin Carving!
It's that time of year again! Halloween is almost here! Can't have Halloween without carving pumpkins. I sometimes secretly try to forget about it and hope no one will notice, but that never works around here. They love it! The kids found a stencil kit this year at Wal-Mart and made some pretty cool looking pumpkins!

Emilee's sweet 16th Birthday!
Emilee is 16!!! Can't believe it. She is soon to enter the world of driving and dating! She is pretty excited for that...well at least the driving part! I think there are a few young men in our neighborhood who are excited for the dating part!
We celebrated with a Birthday dinner at our house. She found a cool new recipe for a cookie, brownie Reeses Peanut Butter cup dessert. It was divine! She wanted money for her birthday and that is what she got!
We love you Em! Happy Sweet 16! You have grown into such a beautiful young lady. Excited to see what is in store for you in the future!
Em's best friend is Elizabeth! She is so sweet. She came with a whole basket of fun stuff with cute little sayings attached to each one. They were really cute and quite funny! One thing Em has always had is good friends, and lots of them!

Quincy's Halloween Party
So much fun! Quincy planned a Halloween party. She invited several, but only ended up with 3 girls that could come that night. They ate pizza and breadsticks, played lots of games and had planned to watch a scary movie. We borrowed "watcher in the woods" from our neighbor thinking it would have the perfect scare factor for this age, but half of the girls decided they were not up for a scary movie of any kind. Quincy was kind of disappointed, but they found some other things to do! Cute girls!

Brinley's Halloween Party
For some crazy reason I decided to let Quincy and Brinley invite a bunch of friends over for a Halloween Party! They made and delivered invitations and we planned lots of games and treats. Quincy's was on a Friday night and Brinley's was on a day after school. Brinley has such a cute group of friends that she goes to school with. She has made some great friends out of the area because of the Dual Immersion Chinese program that she is doing at school. They are a fun group! It was wild and crazy most of the time, but it only lasted 21/2 hours!

Homemade Corndogs!
Dad thought it would be fun to make our own corndogs! I didn't think it sounded so great, but I didn't care as long as the grease was not in my house! The garage worked out to be a great happy medium! They actually turned out really yummy...for a corndog! Our kids are lucky to have such a fun Dad!

Grandpa's Goats!
On our way back from Island Park we stopped in to see Grandpa and Grandma Southwick. We love the little farm Grandpa has made. The kids got a real treat when Grandpa let them try to milk the goats! Quincy and Emilee thought it was the coolest ever, Kade wasn't the least bit interested and Brinley was a bit scared! Em quickly posted it on facebook for all of her friends to see!
