Memorial Day

This year on Memorial day we actually visited several cemeteries and saw where many of our family members are buried.  On Sunday we went to the North Ogden Cemetery with Grandpa Tom and Grandma Barb to visit the sites of Great Grandma and Grandpa Snooks, Grandpa and Grandma Hadley and Grandpa Wyatt.  The next day, which was actually Memorial Day, Dad had off work!  We decided to drive up to Liberty to the cemetery where Great Grandpa and Grandma Southwick are buried.  It was a beautiful day and we loved the drive.  On the way home from Liberty we stopped and got some pizza and found a park where we could stop and have a picnic.  It was a good day!!

Purple and White Dance for Emilee!

Emilee got asked to the "Purple & White" Dance by Lawson Forsberg.  He is a CUTE boy in our ward.  We shopped for the perfect dress and Kylee and Emilee spent the whole day making sure Em looked like a beauty queen.  These 2 girls are best friends...and I am so grateful.  They do most everything together and they help each other with whatever the other needs.  Kylee did Emilee's hair while Em did her nails.  The result was stunning.  She looked beautiful!
When Lawson came to pick her up we had a wee bit of trouble with his boutonniere.  Both Kylee and I tried to pin it on him after Em didn't have much luck.  I thought he was going to die of embarrassment before we got them out of the door!  Good thing he knows us all well.  They were a cute couple and had a great time at the dance.

Quincy's bird!

Quincy got chosen to go to the Brigham City Bird Refuge and transpose a picture that she drew of a bird onto a large piece of paper that will hang on the streets of down town Brigham City! She's a good little artist!  I don't know where our children get this talent from, but I think she is our 4th child to get chosen to do this!!  Excited to drive down main street in Brigham and see her artwork hanging up!
