Memorial Day 2016

We spent Memorial Day visiting the Cemetery of loved ones who have passed on. We drove to Liberty in the Valley to see the graves of Grandpa and Grandma Southwick. We love this beautiful drive and are grateful that we live close enough to try to make it up this way once a year.

Neighborhood Campout!

Over Memorial Day Weekend we got invited to go camping in Hyrum with several of our nieghbors. It was so much fun! We took our tent trailer and the four wheeler and had a great time. The kids loved being there with friends and neighbors. We fished, played, ate yummy, played lots of games and did loads of visiting. I think we will make this an annual tradition! 

Brinley's Piano Recital

Brinley is becoming such a great little piano player! It's been so fun to watch her progress in piano. She practices hard and really seems to enjoy it. Her teacher cannot believe how fast she picks up on things and learns new songs. She did great at her Piano Recital.

State Tennis for Kade!

Kade qualified to play doubles at the State Tennis Match in SLC at Liberty Park. We were able to go and watch him play. They didn't come out on the winning end of the match, but it was fun to watch him play anyways. Kade has improved a lot this year and is becoming a great Tennis player. He's not too sure he likes his fan club there cheering him on, but we come anyways!

Yard Sale Find!!!

Quincy and Brinley left with Kira and Kate on the morning of the Perry Yard Sale to "shop". I told them before they left not to bring home anything too crazy! Well....as the yard sales finished up, the girls found the find of their lives. And the best part...it was FREE! They came home with this WEDDING DRESS! That apparently didn't seem very crazy to them. Oh my goodness! I have to admit, the giggles and fun it brought over the next few days was probably worth the pain of storing a lovely wedding dress in Brinley's bedroom.

Morp for Emilee!

We got to host Morp at our house for Emilee and her cute friends. We did our best to set a nice table and make delicious food. Her friends all brought part of the dinner and it turned out great. I am grateful that she has great friends. They were a great bunch of kids. Fun memories!

Quick trip to see the Goats at Grandpa and Grandma's!

So one day when Mom had somewhere else she needed to be, Dad decided to take these 4 girls on a road trip...to Rexburg, Idaho! They went up and back in about 6 hours so that they could see the new baby goats...and of course visit Grandpa and Grandma Southwick. It was a quick trip but the girls were in heaven. Grandpa let them hold them and milk them. So fun. Good thing they have an adventurous Dad!!

Quincy and Brinley had a clogging competition in Midway so we carpooled with the Hankins and Faerbers.

During our lunch break we went and got something to eat and these girls walked to the nearby Dollar Store. They bought these lovely Barbie Dolls!

They played and giggled all the way home!

Quincy's 13th Birthday!!

She celebrated with friends and family this year. She had her family party with Grandpa Tom of course. They are lucky enough to share Birthday parties every year. She asked for "Baked potato soup" for dinner on the day of her Birthday.

Quincy loves her friends, clogging, singing, and being in plays. She is funny, smart, fun, cute and you really haven't lived until you've heard her cackle laugh! It's the best!!
