Easter with Cousins!

Happy Easter! We celebrated with lots of Easter fun on the Saturday before Easter Sunday. We colored eggs and had an Easter egg hunt with the cousins. The kids loved it. Plenty of sunshine, fun and candy for everyone!

I am so grateful Em shares this amazing talent with me! She always draws something wonderful for the chalkboard that sits on my table in our family room. I LOVE it!

Provo City Center Temple Open House

We were lucky enough to make it down to the Provo City Center Temple for the Open House. It is such a beautiful Temple and has such an amazing story behind it. I was so grateful to get to go. Not all of us could make it this night, but it was nice to have Kylee, Quincy and Brinley with us. The spirit of the Temple is so wonderful and I am grateful that we were able to be inside together. We have been so spoiled in Utah to get to do so many of these Open Houses. We are so blessed!

Quincy's Choir Concert

Quincy loves to sing and is a great little singer!

Quincy decided she wanted to try glasses again instead of contacts! I think she looks pretty cute in her new glasses!!

Brinley's 10th Birthday!

Happy 10th Birthday Brinley!

We celebrated with a family party, her favorite foods and getting her earls pierced!! That's all she really wanted for her Birthday. Dad also played the "Farming Game" with her on her Birthday. She was in heaven.

Brinley is such a fun 10 year old. She is so smart, loves to be creative, loves to play with her friends (mostly Kate), loves candy and treats, and loves to play any game with whoever will play with her. She is amazing at "wacky six" and almost always wins!

Sam's Mission Farewell

Sam is going on a Mission! Yay!

We made the trip to Gunnison to hear her speak and wish her well on her new adventure. 

She leaves next week for the Mesa, Arizona Mission.

Karl and Camilla's Wedding

A beautiful day spent with Karl and Camilla and family on their Wedding Day!

They were married on the day before Valentines Day in the Salt Lake Temple. We spent the morning at the temple with them followed by a luncheon at Pizza Pie Cafe. That evening they had a beautiful reception in Kaysville. 

Guess who caught the Bouquet at the end of the night??? Quincy!!

Our last Elementary School Valentines Box!

Brinley is in 5th grade, which means this will be her last Elementary School Valentines Day party. She wanted to make a very cool Valentines box. She did this almost all by herself. and I think it turned out pretty awesome.

Kade's 16th Birthday!

Happy 16th Birthday Kade!! We are a little short on pictures of this event, probably because Kade is not a fan of pictures! He is a fan of driving though, and is excited to get his drivers license very soon. Kade is still a big tease, loves to play his computer game, likes Tennis, enjoys hanging out with his friends and still loves chocolate bunt cake best!

Brinley's Sick Day!

Brinley stayed home from school because she was sick. I foolishly thought that would mean a day of laying around on the couch resting...that's what it means for most people! Brinley on the other hand cannot sit still!! She wanted to make cupcakes and decorate them like "cupcake wars". So we did! This is her finished product, complete with a white chocolate "B" for the top of her cupcake.

Couples trip to California!

This was the funnest little getaway ever! We went with the Hankins and Mechams to California over Martin Luther King Day in January. It was a blast. We flew out early (like 6am) on a Friday morning and arrived in California by 7:30am. We spent 4 whole days doing anything and everything we wanted! We flew home late Monday night. Tons of time visiting, sightseeing and eating yummy food. I think we need to make this an annual tradition!
