Love this tradition! The pictures say it all. Kate joined us again this year, she's kind of like part of the family. Lots of sugar and lots of fun!!

Birthday Party for Jesus!
We didn't do a very good job with pictures this year! We had our "Birthday party for Jesus" on a Sunday night. Our menu seems to stay the same from year to year. I guess no guessing what our favorite dinner is! We ate turkey steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, cooked carrots, and homemade rolls. We had brownies with peppermint ice cream for desert. YUM!
We talked about the Savior's gift to us being the Atonement and the opportunity to repent and return to live with Heavenly Father again. We also talked aobut how our gift to the Savior can be loving and helping His children. I am so grateful that we get to spend at least one evening during the Christmas Holiday thinking and talking about the Savior and all that He has done for each of us.
Merry Christmas!!

My little cloggers!
Quincy and Brinley have been working on developing a new talent! They started clogging lessons in August and they have done so so well! I am so impressed at the progress they have made in such a short period of time! They were able to perform at the Newgate Mall at Christmas time. Cute girls!!

Setting up the Christmas Tree!!
For the first time in forever...our Christmas tree came back into the living room! Yahoo! Once we got our sectional couch it wouldn't fit anymore and had to be moved into the computer room. We missed having it in the main living area. We also had to celebrate Christmas downstairs because there wasn't enough room in the computer room for all of the presents and all of us! Thanks to our new addition, the tree is back!! Now we've decided the tree is too small and we want a bigger one! Oh my, how one thing leads to another!
Bring on the holiday season...we are excited!!

Helping Grandpa!!
Grandpa Southwick is a great example of a hard worker and always has projects for visiting Grandchildren to help him with! His little farm is awesome and the kids love to help with the chores. There are chickens to be fed, goats to be milked and usually a little wood to be chopped. We are lucky Grandpa is so patient and loves to have helpers. He is always teaching the kids about something! It looks like Kade and Jaden even got a chance to raise a flag on this trip. Grandpa Southwick is awesome and we love him!!

Thanksgiving!
This year once again we made our way to Rexburg for Thanksgiving. It's a little cold but we love to spend time with Grandpa and Grandma Southwick, Great Grandma Ward and cousins. Tracy and Becky's families were there with us this year. Brinley and Jaden became fast friends and had a great time together. As always, we had a delicious Thanksgiving feast. Yum!! We ate, visited and even did a little Black Friday shopping that night. We stayed at our usual Hotel that night and then visited some more the next day before we had to head home. Fun as always!!
