Christmas Morning!

Our first ever Christmas morning in our house with the new addition.  It was so great to have it back upstairs again.  We loved it!  As always, there were plenty of presents under the tree and I think no one was disappointed at the end of the morning.  Santa left one gift for each of the kids.  Kylee and Emilee got the whole series of Harry Potter DVD's.  There were some shrieks of delight from them!  Kade got a PS3 game that he has been wanting, and Quincy and Brinley got pogo sticks!  Lots of bouncing going on now!!

Once again everyone BEGGED to use our Christmas money on a family vacation.  So.....we are going to DISNEYLAND in May!!  We even recrouted some friends this time!  The Mecham's and the Hankin's are coming too!  So fun.  We are excited.  It wasn't a surprise, but the Disney game and puzzle was!  We had to have something Disney for Christmas morning!!

Christmas Eve!

We hosted the Christmas Eve party this year!  It's so nice to have our house put back together and big enough now to comfortably have everyone over.  Camille and her family came from Gunnison for Christmas, so we had a crowd.  It was fun.  We ate yummy food, played games, did a trivia paper that Grandma Wyatt brought, and just visited. We have fun doing anything all together.

Gingerbread Houses!!

Love this tradition!  The pictures say it all.  Kate joined us again this year, she's kind of like part of the family.  Lots of sugar and lots of fun!!

Birthday Party for Jesus!

We didn't do a very good job with pictures this year!  We had our "Birthday party for Jesus" on a Sunday night.  Our menu seems to stay the same from year to year.  I guess no guessing what our favorite dinner is!  We ate turkey steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, cooked carrots, and homemade rolls.  We had brownies with peppermint ice cream for desert.  YUM!

We talked about the Savior's gift to us being the Atonement and the opportunity to repent and return to live with Heavenly Father again.  We also talked aobut how our gift to the Savior can be loving and helping His children.  I am so grateful that we get to spend at least one evening during the Christmas Holiday thinking and talking about the Savior and all that He has done for each of us.

My little cloggers!

Quincy and Brinley have been working on developing a new talent!  They started clogging lessons in August and they have done so so well!  I am so impressed at the progress they have made in such a short period of time!  They were able to perform at the Newgate Mall at Christmas time.  Cute girls!!

Setting up the Christmas Tree!!

For the first time in forever...our Christmas tree came back into the living room!  Yahoo!  Once we got our sectional couch it wouldn't fit anymore and had to be moved into the computer room.  We missed having it in the main living area.  We also had to celebrate Christmas downstairs because there wasn't enough room in the computer room for all of the presents and all of us!  Thanks to our new addition, the tree is back!!  Now we've decided the tree is too small and we want a bigger one!  Oh my, how one thing leads to another!  

Bring on the holiday season...we are excited!!
